Project Description

The Stylish Steed
Honda CB Seven Fifty

Start of the build
Dad’s bike… After many years of asking, dad’s custom Honda Seven Fifty was still not for sale. So the son eventually decided to secretly buy his own Seven Fifty and let us at Moto Adonis build a Café Racer out of it to make it his own. The goal was to surprise his dad and have them finally ride together on their own custom bikes.

In our eyes, the Honda CB Seven Fifty is a great bike for starting a Café Racer build. Nice looking frame and tank, and also a reliable engine with enough power for a great ride!

To add a unique touch to the project, the customer expressed a desire to participate in the building process. The customer is a painter by trade, so this was not an issue for us and was an opportunity for the customer to show off his own skills.

The Build
At the outset of this build, the goal was to imbue the bike with the distinctive Moto Adonis touch: a stylish and clean-looking bike, built with attention to detail. We began this build by constructing a complete new subframe that follows the lines of the stock gas tank. Next on the list was the seat, which needed to offer both comfort for long rides and an appealing design with integrated brake and taillights.

The exhaust system was then addressed, with the customer desiring a throaty sound without disturbing the neighbors too much. We crafted a complete stainless steel exhaust and had it Cera coated black.

Other tasks included fabricating fenders, making a custom electrical and battery box under the seat, making handmade aluminum side covers, and enhancing the overall appearance of the bike. This bike also boasts a full Motogadget system, including mirrors, #mo.blaze bar-end turn signals, and a Motoscope Pro speedometer. We like to build bikes with high-quality parts, so we have also chosen Renthal bars, Biltwell handgrips, and a Highsider headlight.

After the build
We take great pride in this build! The bike looks great and delivers an awesome riding experience. And most importantly, we have once again brought a customer’s dream bike to life and made them happy.
